New school buildings for NWP

The North Western Provincial Council, Education Ministry has launched a school development program which will benefit 500 schools in the Kurunegala and Puttalam districts.

Two-hundred dilapidated school buildings and new buildings especially those in rural areas will be constructed.

The Wayamba Provincial Council will provide funds from the 2015 budget to implement this program, said NWP Chief Minister, Dayasiri Jayasekara.
