KVC cordials re-launched

The KVC Vasa Visa Nethi range of cordials manufactured by Kelani Valley Canneries Ltd was re-launched by Scan Products, the marketing and distribution arm of the C. W. Mackie PLC Group recently.

"We believe that KVC is a strong brand. The company plans to further invest in improving standards with a quality assurance unit in place," C.W. Mackie Group Chairman and CEO W.T. Ellawala said.

The company's key focus is on quality and we will never compromise on this. The first six months will be devoted to rationalisation of processes including finance, sales, marketing, distributing and procurement. With the rationalisation in place, the company will be successful in bringing back profitability, he said.

"We will continue the consolidation process. We will introduce an organic range of products to attract health conscious customers," Ellawala said.

The company will also explore the possibility of exporting KVC products, he said.
