Maithripala’s good governance promise will remain a dream

New Democratic Front candidate (NDF) Maithripala Sirisena is incapable of establishing good governance in the country. Expecting him to do so is only a dream, so said JVP’s Sunil Handunetti to a weekend Sinhala newspaper yesterday.

He was of the view that many of the promises made by the NDF candidate were false statements which could never be fulfilled.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s development programs will continue as before. The NDF candidate will not be in a position to eradicate poverty and improve the economy, he said.
