Meeriyabedde in Koslanda was in the news a few months ago when a landslide rendered many people homeless. Our staff photographer Susantha Wijegunanasekera clicked this photograph in Meeriyabedda recently. The children on the back cover are victims of the landslide and are housed in camps. They have not lost the joy for living and are quite oblivious to the fate that befell them.
