Softlogic to market Whirlpool products

Whirlpool has entered into an agreement with Softlogic Retail (Pvt) Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Softlogic Holdings PLC to market and distribute,Whirlpool products in Sri Lanka.

The world-renowned brand has confirmed that they will come on board with Softlogic with their entire range of products from built-in kitchen appliances, washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, ice makers, dish washers, cookers, microwaves, air conditioners and water purifiers.

Whirlpool had approximately $24 billion in annual sales, 100,000 employees and 70 manufacturing and technology research centres throughout the world in 2014.

The company has a dominant position in the North American, South American and European market and being the leading Western brand in Asia. It has a wide and well diversifield portfolio of brands spread across 170 countries.

Over the years Softlogic has established itself as one of the country's largest retailers and distributors for world reputed home appliances.
