Dear children,

Since Sri Lanka is a tropical country we don't have seasons such as spring, summer, autumn and winter.

A cold spell of winter in the Western hemisphere is almost coming to an end and the people look forward to spring, when the trees which were in 'slumber' sprout tiny green leaves and flowers bloom. This is a special time for some countries. We have an interesting story on these lines in our pages today.I am sure you will enjoy reading it.
