Police find two human legs

Dematagoda Police are continuing with their investigations on the two human legs found thrown into a sewage canal along Siri Dhamma Mawatha yesterday.

Acting on a tip off received on 119 hotline, Dematagoda Police found the legs around 8.45 a.m. yesterday.The legs presumably that of a man have been amputated above the knee.

A postmortem was carried out yesterday and investigations are continuing to ascertain whether he was a victim of torture or murder.
