Kaspersky launches IT security for small businesses
Kaspersky Small Office Security, the security solution built
specifically for businesses with less than 25 employees by Kaspersky can
now be obtained in Sri Lanka.
The latest product from the Kaspersky Laboratory provides protection
and easy use without the need for specialist IT skills. The new features
make it easier to focus valuable resources on running and developing the
business while keeping operations, customer's and employee's data
secure.
According to a recent survey, the share of companies that allow use
of employee's personal devices within the corporate network had grown to
62% in 2014. However, although businesses realise that customer's
personal information (25%), payment requisites (13%) and trade secrets
(12%) are among the top priorities of their information security needs,
they keep taking basic protective measures, relying, for example, on
free anti-malware products.
"Running a small business can be exciting and fun, but being small
doesn't mean being less noticeable by cyber criminals. It's important
for businesses to pay more attention to ensure their cyber security and
Kaspersky Small Office Security has made it easy," said Head of Endpoint
Product Management, Kaspersky Laboratory, Konstantin Voronkov.
"It's straightforward to install, simple to configure and easy to
maintain, so that business owners can get on with doing what they do
best, making the company a success," he said.
Managing Director, South Asia, Kaspersky Laboratory, Altaf Halde
arrived in Sri Lanka to launch the new product, which is marketed by
Avian, a diversified group of companies with an interests in IT, leisure
and apparel industries.
"Small Businesses have been a big revenue contributor to South Asian
countries and are growing at a tremendous pace. The new version of the
product brings in more advanced abilities to handle all the IT Security
concerns without compromising on the ease of use," he said. |
