3 Youth drown in Kalu Ganga

Three youth aged between 18 to 19, from Ukgalboda, Kalutara drowned yesterday when they were bathing in the Kaluganga at Galtotupola in Ukgaboda in Kalutara North, Police said.

The three youth reportedly drowned in the river around 10 am yesterday and their bodies were recovered around 12.45 pm with the support of the Police, Navy and the people in the area.

The bodies were taken to Nagoda hospital, the Police added.
