Richardson launches LED gantry advertising

LED gantry advertising was launched in Colombo by Richardson Outdoor (Pvt) Ltd. recently.

With the time to read advertisements becoming less, the need to catch the eye to put the message across becomes more important. LED gantry advertising is the one of the most effective methods of advertising. Gantry advertising is always visible to drivers and passengers.

With the LED technology the advertisement can be changed every few seconds. Advertisements can be updated with the latest information easily. This has made the LED gantries an effective mode of advertising the world over, said Director, Richardson Outdoor, Azmeth Caffoor.

"Special offers of supermarkets can be displayed during peak hours so that people on the way home can make use of the offer. This is one of our new products on offer. We also do scrolling displays at bus halts. The next product will be bus halts with wi-fi. As many people wait for a considerable time at bus halts they could use the time more productively," he said.

Advertising will play a prominent role in the future. LED gantries and scrolling signs will be all around the country because of their cost effectiveness, reach and impact, Caffoor said.
