Sri Lanka made a cash donation of US$ 25,000 to the Government of Myanmar as relief aid, following the devastation to life and property caused by the recent floods. The contribution was handed over to the Ambassador of Myanmar in Sri Lanka U Min Thein Zan, by Foreign Secretary Chitranganee Wagiswara, at a simple ceremony at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on August 14, 2015.
