Marapana and Sanjaya best at 4x4 Challenge

Naveen Marapana (co-driver) and Indika Sanjaya (driver) stole the limelight at the recently concluded 4X4 Challenge organised by the Commando Regiment of the army and the Nissan Petrol Club at the training school at Uva Kuda Oya last week.

In second place was Thusitha Sri Kumara (co-driver) and Sihara Thilina (driver) while ABD Nissanka (driver) and ABC Madushanka (co-driver) was placed third.

In the Suv Standard Event Indika Abeyratne (driver) and Asanka Tennekoon (co-driver) finished first while MACR Fernando (driver) and Shamila Fernando (co-driver) was placed second.

In third place was MACS Fernando (driver) and PHDS Bandara (co-driver).

Chanaka Attygalle (driver) and Charitha Liyanage (co-driver) won the event for SUV modified vehicles while Asanka Jayatilleke (driver) and Nishantha Ratnayake (co-driver) was placed second.

Saman Appuhamy (driver) and Dinesh Appuhamy (co-driver) took the third slot.
