Old Rajans take stock of rugby

The Old Rajans Rugby Football Association (ORRFA) which is formed by the playing past pupils of Dharmaraja College held its annual general Mming at the Kandy Club on August 8. High on the agenda was the releasing of an annual action plan focusing on assisting Dharmaraja rugby.

Election of the new office bearers and organising a musical extravaganza to raise funds for rugby tournaments of the College was also taken up.

Dharmaraja won the A division schools League title in 2013.

Brig. Nirmal Dharmaratne was succeeded by Supun Thalagoda as the new president of ORRFA while Vijitha Heenkenda will continue as the secretary. Over the past one year the ORRFA, has assisted the College rugby teams in numerous ways providing material and monetary assistance received from well wishers.
