Ussapitiya Rivisanda Maha Vidyalaya emerge winners
Ussapitiya Rivisanda Maha Vidyalaya clinched the top honours as the
most innovative project proposal winning the challenge trophy and Rs.
150,000 for the implementation of their proposal. S-lon Lanka (Pvt)
Ltd., inaugurated the second phase of the Diyasara Student Circle
Programme at D.S. Senanayake College, Meerigama. Ussapitiya Rivisanda
Maha Vidyalaya, Aranayake, Tangalle Girl's School, Ananda Balika
Vidyalaya, Hingurakgoda, Saddhatissa Maha Vidyalaya, Ampara and Uva
Paranagama Medawea Maha Vidyalaya participated.
The 'Diyasara Student Circle' is an extension of S-lon's in-house
quarterly magazine 'Diyasara', which highlights environmental and water
related issues. The third phase of this CSR initiative is scheduled to
commence towards the fourth quarter of 2015. |
