Pillayan’s arrest
Ten years after the murder of TNA MP for the
Batticaloa District, Joseph Pararajasingham, former child soldier,
LTTE militant and Chief Minister of the Eastern Province,
Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan, popularly known as Pillayan, is
arrested and the CID is now seeking to detain him for 90 days under
