Preethi Hot and Preethi Cool

The Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka launched two new brands of condoms, Preethi Hot and Preethi Cool at a ceremony held at the Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo, recently.

Preethi Hot and Preethi Cool, manufactured by Karex Industries, Malaysia, have been produced to conform to ISO 4074-2014 International standards well as the ASTM D3492-2014of the United States of America and registered under the Drug Regulatory Authority of Sri Lanka. Using the two condom brands would assist in the prevention of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) and will ensure satisfaction between couples when used as a family planning method. Preethi Hot contains lubricants that create a warm sensation and Preethi Cool contains lubricants that create a cooling sensation.

In addition to Preethi Hot and Preethi Cool, the Association has also introduced Easy Glide Delay gel to use with both condoms. This Benzocaine gel is an oil free, water soluble lubricant manufactured by Karex Industries, Malaysia. Distribution within Sri Lanka is by the Family planning Association of Sri Lanka. The use of this lubricant ensures a satisfying sexual experience without drugs for those experiencing premature ejaculation.

With Preethi Hot and Preethi Cool condoms joining the existing Preethi and Preethi Super condoms, the Preethi family has expanded to four members. The Family planning Association of Sri Lanka introduced the brand `Preethi' in 1973. From then onwards Preethi continued to win the appreciation and confidence of the people.
