Blood pressure meters for National Hospital
Litro Gas, importer and market leader of Liquefied Petroleum Gas
(LPG) in Sri Lanka, and Litro Gas Terminal Lanka recently donated blood
pressure meters to the Colombo National Hospital(CNH), as part of its
on-going CSR initiative towards an energetic community.
A recent Family Health Bureau study showed that twenty out of every
100 Sri Lankans suffer from high blood pressure. The reasons attibuted
are consuming food contaminated with pesticides and wrong food habits.
This shows how critical it is for the public to seek consultation, do
check-ups and manage these non-communicable diseases routinely.
