Inferno at Salawa

The fire that erupted at the Salawa Army camp in Kosgama, around 6. 15 pm last Sunday was suspected to have been caused by an explosion in the armoury, a SLAF spokesman said.

The Air Force deployed an aircraft to observe Salawa army camp area while several fire fighting vehicles were also dispatched, the spokesman said.
