ALL BLACKS STILL TOO STRONG FOR SPIRITED WELSH.…..36-22
The second test match of Steinlager Series between All Blacks & visitors Wales
took place glamorously recently in front of a full house at Westpac Stadium in
Wellington, New Zealand. At the sixteenth minute on commencement Welsh obtained
the early lead through Welsh playmaker Fly-Half Dan Biggar who put over a
penalty successfully .
But at the twentieth minute of the game few well coordinated & executed passes
within the backs division of All Blacks created an opportunity for a touchdown
by Fullback Israel Dagg and the lead was stolen back by hosts.
Then All Blacks’ most prolific place-kicker Fly-Half Aaron Cruden was able
making it a converted try with extra two points on the board.
Cruden again started communicating bravely with his boot for a lifetime
convenient penalty kick at the thirtieth minute of play. At the fortieth minute
Welsh lock forward Alun Wyn Jones scored a brilliant try exploiting the extra
space created on the left flank & as a result the scores were leveled at
halftime(10-10).
Early in the second half at the fifty second minute well experienced All Blacks
Right Wing Ben Smith went for a touchdown & the lead was taken back by the all
Blacks. In the fifty fifth minute of play All Blacks replacement Beauden Barrett
scored a try following a
five meter scrum inside Welsh territory. At the sixtieth a replica of the
previous try was scored by Fijian born sensational Left
Wing Waisake Naholo who went over the line for a five pointer. Soon after
Naholo’s heroics Ardie Savea combined well with a pass from TJ Perenara who
scored a eye catching try. |
