I can sing well
Songs I can sing
Even in front of a king
The training comes from my father
And the support from my mother
Singing teacher in school,
takes her time,long
Correcting me, whenever I go wrong.

Little things - by Julia Fletcher Carney
Little drops of water,
Little grains of sand,
Make the mighty ocean
And the pleasant land.
Thus the little minutes,
Humble though they be,
Make the mighty ages
Of eternity.
So our little errors
Lead the soul away
From the path of virtue
Far in sin to stray.
Little deeds of kindness,
Little words of love,
Help to make earth happy
Like the heaven above.
My pet
My pet is a cat,
Whose name is Pat,
It catches big rats,
And plays with mats.
I have a big wish,
To give him thousand fish,
So he'll not be sad,
And will not be bad.
He swims in the pool,
Where the water is cool,
He is scared of the dogs,
And loves playing with balls.

About the teeth of sharks - by John Ciardi
The thing about a shark is—teeth,
One row above, one row beneath.
Now take a close look. Do you find
It has another row behind?
Still closer—here, I’ll hold your hat.
Has it a third row behind that?
Now look in and...Look out! Oh my,
I’ll never know now! Well, goodbye.
Brother
Brightest in the universe like the
Red star in the sky
Other than that banishes my loneliness
Throughout the day
Hot at times but
Ever loves me
Really my loving brother

Daddy fell into the pond - by Alfred Noyes
Everyone grumbled,
The sky was grey,
We had nothing to do and nothing to say,
We were nearing the end of a dismal day,
And then there seemed to be nothing beyond,
Then Daddy fell into the pond!
And everyone's face grew merry and bright,
And Timothy danced for sheer delight,
"Give me the camera, quick, oh quick!
He's crawling out of the duckweed!”
Click! Then the gardener suddenly slapped his knee,
And doubled up, shaking
silently,
And the ducks all quacked as if they were daft,
And it sounded as if the old drake laughed.
Oh, there wasn't a thing that didn't respond
When Daddy fell into the pond!
