Acting upon a concept of the Commander of the
Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne, Master Chief Petty
Officer of the Navy, has been appointed. Master Chief Petty Officer
TG Neelkaru is the first to be appointed to this post.
Authorities in Thailand are searching for a network of suspects
after a coordinated series of bomb attacks targeting beach towns and
resorts left four people dead and 34 injured, in some of the
country’s worst violence in years.
