I
will study hard to invent things
My name is Aysha Zameel. I study in Grade Four. I want to become a
scientist when I grow up to invent new things. I want to invent a robot
who will do all my homework, especially the science. It's fun to be a
scientist because we can also have fun with experiments. I was inspired
to become a scientist when my teacher called me a 'little scientist.'
When I heard that I decided to become a scientist. I will study hard to
invent things. I wish my ambition comes true.
I
like to work with children
My name is Safiyya Zameel. I study in Grade Six. I am 11-years-old
and I live in Saudi Arabia. I want to be a teacher because education
makes the world a better place to live in. I like to be a primary school
teacher.
The subject I like to teach is Social Studies. Social Studies help
children learn about the history and culture. I like to work with
children. I wish my ambition comes true.
My
ambition is to become an artist
My name is Hana Jawazim. I am in Grade five. I am ten-years-old. I am
at Creative International School, Saudi Arabia.
My ambition is to become an artist. Drawing takes time and I like to
paint. I go for drawing classes in school. It is fun to draw. Drawing
makes the world more beautiful. There are no hard and fast rules in
drawing. We can do whatever we want such as scribbling, rough drawing
and sketching.
My name is Dinitha Sandeep Perera. I study at Lyceum International
School. My favourite subjects are Mathematics and Physics. I like to be
an aircraft engineer. Aircraft engineers apply scientific and
mathematical concepts to to solve commercial and practical problems.
There are types of aerospace or aeronautical engineers who design, test,
maintain and supervise the making of aircrafts. It is an interesting and
exciting job. I will study hard and become an aircraft engineer.
Hope, wish, fantasy….
Call it what you may, everyone dreams of being someone or doing
something different when they grow up. Some dream of being astronauts,
rocket scientists, space explorers… Some dream of being clowns,
comedians and running away to a circus. Still others wish to be lawyers,
doctors, cricketers or superstars.
The sky, as they say, is the limit to your dreams… But what’s the
fun if you keep it all to yourself? So why not put pen to paper, or
finger to keyboard, and share with us what you dream of being, when you
grow up? You can mail your dreams, along with your photograph to
husnakghs
@yahoo.com or send it by snail
mail to ‘Junior Observer’, No. 35, D.R.
