Japan relaxes travel advisory The Government of Japan has announced that it had relaxed some of its "Travel advice and warning" for Japanese travellers to Sri Lanka and its residents here. The gist of the measures are as follows: 1. Northern Province: Level 5 (Evacuation advice for all residents); Level 3 (Recommendation to defer all travel) (relaxed). 2. Eastern Province: Level 3 (Recommendation to defer all travel) (unchanged). 3. Yala National Park: Level 2 (Recommendation to defear non-essential travel) (unchanged). 4. All other areas: Level 2 (Recommendation to defer non-essential travel); Level 1 (Travel with caution) (relaxed). |
