Revd. Selwyn Hughes arrives in Sri Lanka on 5th visit

Revd. Selwyn Hughes, International Bible Teacher and renowned preacher, will come to Sri Lanka by February 5, 2002, to present his life's work in "Christ Empowered Living" seminar.

This seminar will be at the BMICH main auditorium from 4.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. each day, on the 6th and 7th February 2002, with simultaneous interpretations in Sinhala and Tamil on earphones.

He has experienced a clear call from God to continue his ministry activities overseas. He has already visited USA and Nigeria and now he is expected in Sri Lanka in February 2002, on completion of his visit to India.

Revd. Selwyn Hughes came first to this country in 1995 when he conducted a seminar on "Helping people through their problems' at the BMICH.

Subsequently he presented seminars on 'Christian caring', 'Relationships' and how to build a good and godly marriage'. Also in one of his visits he conducted a Seminar specially to Christian priests, Pastors and Lay Leaders on 'Shepherding the flock of God'.

In 1999, on his 4th visit to Sri Lanka, he conducted 'School of Christian Counselling' seminar at the Bible Society Auditorium, over 4 days. The 'Christ empowered living' seminar unfolds the secret of how to celebrate our significance in God in the use of an easy to follow power point presentation. The key Biblical concepts are broadcast vividly to life through dynamic teaching and personal illustration. This seminar which is a major new work will be of interest to those who have sat under Revd. Selwyn's teachings over the years, and will be a significant resource for all who have studied the CWR Model of Biblical Counselling.

Revd. Selwyn is expected to speak at the 'Full Gospel Business Mens' Fellowship International' meeting at the Trans Asia Hotel in the evening of February 5, 2002 from 4.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. and Ms. Jeannette Barwick, a member of his team, will conduct a seminar for women on 'Finding hope in a hurting world' at the Bible Society Auditorium on February 5, 2002 from 8.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. All are welcome, on a free admission basis.

Revd. Selwyn Hughes is the founder of 'Crusade for World Revival' and he is the teacher of 'Every day with Jesus' with Bible notes, which he has presented over 35 years and it is widely read worldwide in 126 countries which has now exceeded over 500,000 copies per two months.
