EDWARDS ­ SIR ALFRED KCG,   Consultant Holy See Mission to the UN, United Nations International Diplomat, former Ceylon Diplomatic Service and Ceylon Civil Service, loving husband of Nalini and dearest father of the late Rajiv Edwards, Radhika Edwards Brown, Marini and Niloo Edwards and beloved grandfather of Anneka, Andrew, Rory, Claire, Joseph and Samuel, loving son of the late Mr and Mrs John Alfred and son-in-law of Mr and Mrs Fred E. Alles. The funeral mass was held at SR. Ignatius Loyola Church, Park Avenue, New York on February 6th 2002. 

JAYAWARDENE ­ SUNIL JOSEPH   Husband of Kamalanie, father of Shashika, Kushlani and Shamilka, expired on Thursday the 14th February 2002. Funeral was held privately and the remains were handed to the Medical Faculty, Colombo according to his wishes. The family wishes to thank the clergy, friends and relations who helped in many ways.
