Sports to figure in New year festivities by Badulla Sports Correspondent A New year sports program is being organised by the Bandarawela Police in Bandarawela this year. The Senior Superintendent of Police M. Laffeer and his staff are working round the clock to make this year's sports program a success. The sports program will be conducted on April 12 at the Bandarawela U.C. grounds where six-a-side cricket, seven-a-side football, volleyball for men and women and several cultural events will be conducted. Preliminary rounds will be conducted during the first week of this month and the finals of all events will be worked out on April 12. |
