Kayts incident Probe team off to Jaffna
The three-member committee headed by former Air Force Commander, Air
Vice Marshal Harry Goonatillake, appointed to probe the alleged assault
incident between the LTTE and the Army/Navy on June 20 in Kayts will leave
for Jaffna tomorrow. The other two members are former Jaffna Municipal
Commissioner C. V. K. Sivaghanam, attorney-at-law Oliver Weerasena, with
Nalaka Kaluwewa, Assistant Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, as the
secretary of the committee.
