Sri Lanka 'A' were in a strong position agaisnt Bangaldesh on day two in their three-day cricket match played at De Soysa Stadium, Moratuwa.

Sri Lanka 'A' skipper Prasanna Jayawardene declared at the overnight score of 382 for 9 and visitors in reply made 228 runs. Abdul Sarkar top scored with 92.

In their second innings Sri Lanka were 73 for 3 wickets and have an overall lead of 227 runs with seven wickets in hand.

Match will be continued today at 10.00 a.m.
