Tamil Nadu vs Sri Lanka Schools swim meet July 27 and 28

The first ever Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka Schools Aquatic Association Age Group Swimming Championships organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Aquatic Sports Association will be held on July 27 and 28 at S. Thomas' College Mt. Lavinia swimming pool.

It will be a dual contest between the swimmers from Sri Lanka Schools and the swimmers from Justice P.S. Kailasam Medical and Educational Teachers Foundation, Chennai.

NAASU will offer all technical assistance for this meet.

The Sri Lanka Schools swimmers will be selected from the performances of the NAASU conducted Age Group Swimming and Diving Championships.

Meanwhile, Thomian and Sri Lanka swimmer Brig. B. Munasinghe is the chairman of the selection committee of the National Amateur Aquatic Sports Union of Sri Lanka (NAASU).

The selection committee was selected by the executive committee of NAASU and the names have been approved by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports.

The other members of the committee are Group Captain, SLAF Harsha Karannagoda, DIG Michael Attyagala, Azeem Axain and Dr. Lalindra Gunaratne.
