Sri Lanka won two matches and lost two in the Second Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) Cup tournament now on in Hong Kong.

Sri Lanka won the first match against Oman by 2 goals to 1, with D. M. P. P. Abeyratna off a penalty corner and then Samal Peris made it 2-nil off a penalty stroke.

Then Sri Lanka lost 0-1 to Singapore and lost to Chinese Taipei also by the same margin. Victory came Sri Lanka's way by 1 goal to nil over Iran.
