Isipatana scored a convincing 39-7 win over St. Anthony's College Katugastota in their inter school rugby encounter played at Longden Place on Friday.

Isipatana collected their points from four goals, one try and two penalties after having led 20-7 at half time. The Antonians responded with a goal. In another inter school match played at Havelock Park Dharmaraja College Kandy beat Ananda 16-5 after having led 6-5 at half time.

DSS triumph

Meanwhile D. S. Senanayake College beat Thurstan College 19-5 in their inter school rugby encounter played at D. S. Senanayake College grounds, Wijerama Mawatha yesterday. The winners collected their points from two goals and one try after having led 5 nil at half time. Thurstan managed to score only a solitary try. - (C.D)
