AMARASEKARA - Dr. KUMAR   on August 1st 2002. Dearly beloved son of Kingsley and Olive (deceased), much loved brother of Rajkumari, brother-in-law of David Alexander Kitchin. Cremation took place on August 5th at the Necropolis in Springvale, Victoria, Australia. BRAINERD - NAVAMALAR (nee CHINNIAH).   Died peacefully at her home at   2173 Monson Crescent, Glocester, Ontario K1J 6A7, Canada on Tuesday, August 13, 2002 in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of John Fredrick (Freddie) Selladurai, loving mother of Edmund & Patricia Naveena (Nee Kadirgamar) and Julian & Pretheeva (nee Jeyabalan). Also loved by her grandchildren Ivana, Miriam, Esther and Ivan, dear sister of Nesamalar Selverajah (Canada), Thiraviamalar Punniyamoorthy, Bennet Chinniah & Damayanthi (USA) and the late Arulnathan Chinniah. Also survived by her nieces and nephews. The funeral service was held on Saturday August 17 at Ottawa, Canada. 

DELGODA - ASOKAMALA TAMMITA KUMARIHAMY.   Wife of Raja, loving mother of Sinha Raja and Anurudha, sister of Gamini and Nimal and daughter of the late R.B. Tammita and Tikiri Kumari Tammita Kumarihamy, passed away in England on 29th May 2002. Her ashes will be taken to the Tammita Sri Alokaramaya, Uhumiya, on Friday, 30th August 2002.
