Dubbed 'a tribute to life', the Tribute has a 3.0 litre V6 engine which combines powerful off the line acceleration with abundant capacity at higher speeds. The Mazda's 'Contrast in Harmony' design theme gives the Tribute its distinctive look contrasting elements of toughness and elegance making it equally at home in Colombo or Yala. Some of the unique features Mazda Tribute include the electronically controlled four speed automatic transmission with a shift lever mounted onto the steering column, a slope control function that manages shifting more intelligently on uphill roads, and a 4 wheel drive system. Other regular features include an elastic glass sunroof with sunshade, ABS with electronic brake distribution, front fog lamps, tailgate wiper, AM/FM radio and CD with 4 speakers are all part of the Tribute's standard equipment.
