Pakistan official confirms arrest of Sept 11 suspect The official told AFP on condition of anonymity that Binalshibh is a Yemeni national. Asked whether he is still in Pakistan or has been flown out of the country, the official said: "I am not aware of his whereabouts." US government sources in Washington said earlier Binalshibh was arrested in Wednesday's raid on an apartment in Karachi. They said he was now in US custody in an undisclosed location. |
