B& S creat a storm
in Micosia

Within a short spell of time Bathiya and Santhush, who escalated into the top rung of the music scene here in our country, created a major storm when they performed for the first time in Nicosia, Cyprus in late October.

The band swept the audience off their feet with a dazzling performance which resulted in many enthusiastic demands for encores which B&S readily obliged. To the capacity packed audience at the show organised by the Sri Lanka Society, this music was something new and different which played havoc with their adrenalene, that they danced themselves to exhaustion and happiness. Bathiya and Santhush undoubtedly won the hearts of the Sri Lankans in Cyprus with their down to earth performance singing all songs from their albums, including tracks from their new one as well.

Of course, Sri Sanghabodhi disrupted everyone's equilibrium, we are told. B&S played with their full band with singers Nevanthi and Ashanthi, rapper Gajan and the backing band comprising Billy, Nalin and Nadeeka. B&S have now grabbed a slot for themselves in the UAE as well. Congratulations!!
