Mesmerizing music
from the Thai twins

The musician twins Mutthaporn and Khanita Homchaem from Thailand are featured in performances of Thailand Classical Dance Music at the Lobby lounge of the Trans Asia Hotel in connection with 'Spiced Vibrancy' a Northern Thai Food Festival that is now and will continue till December 23 at the Royal Thai, the authentic Thai Restaurant in the City.

The musicians are studying for their masters degree in Ethnomusicology and have performed at the Thai Laos Cultural Festival in the Peoples Republic of Laos and have given performances in Austria, Netherlands, Bitburg, Germany, Malaysia and at the global festival held in Dubai, UAE.

Graceful and beautiful dressed in traditional attire the twins play the Khim which is a kind of a Chordophone a traditional instrument 200 years old, while the accompanying Jakhe is also a chordophone which originated in the Ayudhaya period of history and is only played by women musicians. The music mesmerizes you into appreciation. So make the date.
