Nalin and the Star Combination continue their successful run with much awaited New Year's Eve action at the Colombo Swimming Club. "We are happy to perform at this exclusive club", says Nalin the leader who in this year has been working a tight schedule of playing dates. "We were at the Grand Hotel, Nuwara Eliya for the season in August and played at the Golf Club dance as well.

This season too we are having our hands full what with our weekly performances on Tuesdays and Sundays at the Galadari lobby, the Kiddies Christmas Party on December 15 and on Christmas Eve as well. With our wide repertoire which includes contemporary chart hits to the evergreens of yesteryear we have been kept busy and hope 2003 will also be successful for us", concludes Nalin. Nalin and Shirmila the Duo hope to release soon their first CD containing their originals as well re-arranged hits of Shirmila's father C. D. Fonseka.
