'D.S.' - stunning performance in basketball! D. S. Senanayake College under-19 basketball team came off with a stunning performance in the Sri Lanka Schools Basketball Federation conducted tournaments 2002 when they became only the second school ever to win the all-island under-19 'A' division championships and all-island under-19 National Schools Championships both in the same year. The first team to do so was the S. Thomas' College, Mt. Lavinia in 1999. The champion D. S.
