Abans Group had one of their best year for the Hockey team this year. They won the C. Division Phoenix Industries Trophy beating Hilton (5-1), Mackwoods (13-0), Metropolitan (2-1) and HSBC (5-0). They also went on to win the 26th annual 7-a-side C Division Tournament by beating Hiltion (2-0) and HSBC (2-0)

The captain of the Abans team, Thilak Fernando was judged as Man of the Tournament'.
