Elephant soft drinks in cans

Ceylon Cold Stores Ltd., (CCS) has launched four products in the Elephant soft drinks range - Cream Soda, Soda, Dry Ginger ale and Tonic - in 325 ml aluminium cans to the local market.

A formal presentation of these cans was made by Sumithra Gunasekera, Managing Director CCS and Director John Keells Holdings to Paddy Withana, Chairman, Sri Lanka Tourist Board at the launch. CCS had decided to market soft drinks in cans in response to a request made by the hotel industry. The cans will be available at mini bars in all tourist hotels. Apart from tourist hotels and restaurants, Elephant soft drink cans will also be available at supermarkets, A-grade outlets, cinemas and bars.

The company hopes to increase its present 50 per cent market share with this latest venture.
