Christmas thoughts

I came to give you peace, this was my mission, but you made it like mincemeat end ate it up with hatred and hostility,

I wanted you to learn civility.

Exam your heart, which is your better part, than your deceiving art,

Stir up your soul and see how you have hurt your parents, brothers, sisters and wives the most.

You underpaid your employees though a labourer is worthy of his hire

You put on a tie and thought you were 'It'.

When you sat on that exalted seat.

These were your ploys.

As you were a cheat.

You sucked their blood

Then threw them to the fire to wallow in the mire.

You were rude to your colleagues,

You stabbed them behind their back,

Until you felled them

'cause you had the money the fire-power and the vociferous pack.

You were stubborn as a mule,

Your heart couldn't keep cool,

You were a damn fool,

But I told you to forgive and forget,

Alas! you took these lethal loads in your head, to your death bed

Jealously galled your bowels

Till your blood and ill-tempered mouth like a viraga, in full flight showing off her might like a deadly night.

I said forgive your enemies, do good that late you, as I forgive your trespasses, and as you survey the wondrous, cross, as I lay hanging in agonizing pain,

I was still able to say, "Forgive" them father as they know not what they do." "Was there a greater love than this?"

I am with an open mind,

These are my thoughts, for

the Christmas time,

Many centuries ago, on a December night,

A saviour of man was born as Jesus Christ

He is said to be the only son of God,

Sent to rescue man

From disruption and wrong;

He came as neither, a king nor a lord,

But, as a member, of the poor, humble folk,

Showing the world, that it is the broke,

god loves and cares, and thinks about most;

Thus, conveying the message of,

compassion and charity,

Thus, telling the world, to spread humanity,

Reminding us all, that this is not a moment

To booze and feast,

Or, to go on a spending spree,

This is the time,

To treat the poor as our own,

Making them feel,

They are wanted evermore.
