A special program of Christmas Children's Songs will be broadcast on Christmas Day over Radio Sri Lanka at 5.30 pm. Performed by the students of Devi Balika Vidyalaya the songs will include the favourite like Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer etc., and the solos in songs like Little Drummer Boy, Santa Claus is Coming to Town are sung by Hasani Perera.

The other children from Devi Balika are Angela Fonseka, Dinithi Kattagoda, Semini Gunawardena and Ashani Wickramararachchi. The music was arranged and played by keyboardist Lakshman Perera, the program compered by Viran Corea and produced by Shiromali Fernando. Lakshman Perera will be performing at the Barbarien Reef Hotel, Beruwela with his bassist/guitarist Ranjan Silva on New Year's Eve.
