Online channelling in Jaffna

E-Channelling Ltd. has launched its centralised channelling system in Jaffna in association with City Medical Jaffna, the oldest pharmacy in the town.

This service provides citizens in the North access to doctors in Nawaloka, Durdens, Asiri and Oasis hospitals in Colombo. They will be able to view doctors' schedules, chose a convenient day and make an appointment within two minutes. More than 20,000 people from over 100 locations in Sri Lanka have already made use of this facility, which eliminates the hassle of having to visit a hospital or waste time in queues to channel a doctor.

E-Channelling, Sri Lanka's pioneering IT network, is the only technology-based company that has been quoted in the Colombo Stock Exchange. Its main shareholders are Millennium Information Technologies, Ayojana Fund, Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation and DFCC Bank.
