'Dawn of Hope,' speaks a thousand words 

'Dawn of hope,' a photographic exhibition of 150 pictures depicting the horror of two decades of war in the north and the east and the events that have taken place since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the LTTE and the Government is being held at the National Art Gallery, Colombo.

The majority of the pictures displayed at the exhibition were clicked by the ANCL photo journalists, some even risked their lives in the war-torn north and the east. The exhibition which started on February 26 will continue till March 6.
