Guinn to release a new CD

Back home on a brief visit from Oz was the Sri Lankan born singer/entertainer Guinn Ragel to finalise arrangements to record and release a new CD containing his original compositions as well as some covers.

Guinn is the leader of the dance band 'Nightshift' which performs regularly in Sydney and he has also launched off on a solo career doing cabaret shows choreographed with dancing girls. The band according to Guinn performs at many Sri Lankan Society dances in Sydney and Brisbane and works extensively in the corporate and club circuit. Commenting on the recording of his new CD Guinn Ragel says "I will be recording the tracks in Melbourne in a professional studio for mixing here in Sri Lanka. I'm happy with the facilities available here for enhancing the tracks and hopefully I will be returning in November - December for the mixing and will be releasing the CD by February 2004."
