SriLankan Airlines' 'World of Festivals' advertisement won the top 'Print Ad of the Year' award for Grant, McCann Erickson at last night's 'SLIM Awards 2003' gala annual ceremony of the country's advertising industry. The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd. was a joint sponsor of the annual awards of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing.

Grant McCann also won the 'Ad Agency of the Year' award. The other main SLIM Award winners are: Radio Ad of the Year : Lowe LDB for 'Denda Hithenawa Wonderbar' promoting Elephant House' 'Wonder Bar' product of Ceylon Cold Stores, Television Ad of the Year: Prime Advertising & Marketing for 'Color and Sri Lanka' promoting the Development Lottery, Campaign of the Year Gold Award: Leo Burnett Solutions for 'Unreal' promoting Odel Unlimited's 'Odel' brand products, Campaign of the Year Silver Award: J. Walter Thompson for 'Beauty Begins' promoting Lux, and Campaign of the Year Bronze Award: Pheonix O. and M. for 'Hope for Tomorrow' promoting the Hope Hospital project.
