Music grooves at The Mix

Bernard and Juliet

It's a new kind of happening at The Mix, Taj Samudra with Bernard and Juliet - the duo from Manila who perform Mondays through to Saturdays from 8.30 pm to past midnight.

On Fridays you can relax or dance to their music till early hours of morn. On Sundays catch the vibes of the Sri Lankan Dream Team a five piece band and their versions, of the hits of '70s and '80s as well as the contemporary chart hits.

Of course during breaks there's DJ Shyam who mixes grooves on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. You might be wondering what do Bernard and Juliet serve out to music lovers? Well according to them, they favour the music of the '60s, '70s and '80s which takes you of an evening from the music of the Beatles, country and western hits, the nuggets of the groups Abba,Simon and Garfunkel, Carpenters, Stevie Wonder, George Michael and more.

So enjoy the music at The Mix and savour the cocktails which are a speciality, mixed to suit your discerning taste buds. In April, Taj Samudra goes South African with an international food promotion festival plus all the long awaited delicacies of Easter. Make sure you are part of the experience in April - but before that take a musical spin at The Mix.
