Rear Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda, former Ananda and Sri Lanka swimmer was re-elected as the President of the National Amateur Aquatic Sports Union (NAASU) at the annual general meeting held at the Samurdhi Office Conference hall, Reid Avenue on Wednesday.

The other office-bearers elected: Vice Presidents - P. S. Kithsiri Dayananda SP, Capt. Gamini Gunasekera, Nevin Pathmadeva, ASP General Secretary - Rifdy Fahmy, Treasurer - Prateesh Seevaratnam, Assistant Secretary - Nethru Nanayakkara, Swimming Controller - N. K. R. Bamunuarachchi, Aquatic Sports Development Controller - H. H. Chulasiri, Waterpolo Controller - P. S. Premasiri Dayananda, Diving Controller - Mahinda Liyanage, Nominations were not received for the posts of Officials and Meets Controller and Synchronized Swimming Controller and NAASU will shortly make the appointments.
