Turning ideas and problems into decisions

Everybody wants to succeed in today's busy world, and the person who succeeds fast wins the game. Therefore, nobody has time to experiment and adopt trial and error methods.

Scquare is a business process that takes an idea or problem from analysis to the ultimate decision. It incorporates the key elements of planning, decision making, analysis, synthesis, creativity and presentation into one process, said Chief Operating Officer SCQuARE Regional Office Malaysia Edwin Silvester Das. The complete process converts ideas into bulletproof business plans and propositions and sells them through organisations.

The process provides managers with a method to organise their thinking in a structured way, maximise their creativity and present their arguments convincingly in writing or by way of a presentation, he added.

The programmes are designed to give individuals skills for life. Each participant will have a process for developing bulletproof plans and propositions ready for use in presentations, letters, memos and discussions immediately after returning to work.

The scquare open programme is for groups of 9-12 persons drawn from different non-competing companies. It is ideal for smaller businesses that do not wish to leave either the business or entire departments under-resourced.

The Scquare Corporate is for persons from the same organisation. There are customised programmes as well, while the powerplan programme is for a group of about 40 persons from the same organisation.

The benefits to the organisation are clarity of goals and objectives, bulletproof planning, clearer communication, better and faster decisions, improved teamwork, more effective meetings, increased competitiveness and improved return on your investments.

Among the benefits to the individual are being shown how to maximise his or her abilities, developing better analytical skills, more creative ideas, greater confidence and clearer communication.

SCQuARE International is a training and consultancy company founded by Ross Lovelock and Roy Ashworth. Headquartered in the UK, it has offices in Australia and Malaysia. It is in the process of venturing into Sri Lanka through its regional office in Malaysia. SCQuARE is presently represented in Sri Lanka by Nirmali Jayetileke. Scquare has been delivered to companies in over 51 countries.
