TVS raises the curtain on their latest range

Leading Indian motorcycle manufacturing giant TVS, launched their latest range of motorbikes - the new Fiero F2, The New Victor GL and Scooty Pep to the Sri Lankan market, through their sole distributors TVS Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, which is a joint venture between United Motors Lanka Ltd and TVS Group India.

The new models were launched at a glitzy evening of dance and song, at the Colombo Hilton, where the latest biking sensations were introduced to the discerning audience. Present at the event were TVS Lanka's business partners and dealers from across the island. Also present were the ever popular duo of Sri Lankan cricket Marvan Atapattu and Muttiah Muralitharan, official brand ambassadors for the TVS brand in Sri Lanka.

These dynamic and versatile new releases from TVS are extensions of their existing models, with enhanced features in terms of economy, performance, style and safety. TVS's understanding of varying rider needs are apparent in the advanced features found in these new models that bring new levels of convenience, comfort, style and safety to the driving experience.

Aptly termed as the Advanced Biking Experience - The new Fiero F2 introduces acceleration that's a cut above with comfort and handling in a class of its own. With unmatched fuel efficiency features, it not only delivers plenty of power but also provides exciting riding. Moreover, TVS's approach to safety is revealed in features such as the split crash guard for better safety and low maintenance cost, Audible side stand alarm for safety etc.

With an integrated and bigger fairing, smart console, digital mapped ignition, sleek fuel tank, hydraulically mapped telescopic front suspension, all-chrome silencer with muffler guard, and a unique single radius, wider rear tyre to provide a unique road grip, every inch of the new Fiero F2 has been perfected to thrill your senses. Starting now - every other bike will have some catching up to do.

A real head turner, the New Victor GL is designed to put a smile on the faces of consumers. The new Victor is the only bike which features an Econometer, a unique device that gives you greater control over mileage. The new model now comes with advanced digital ignition, an advanced 4-stroke engine with a mapped digital ignition system, which delivers a consistently superior mileage of 85 km/1. The bikes 110cc engine generates 6KW of power for superior delivery while the high torque of 8.1 Nm delivers enormous pick-up that takes the rider effortlessly up the steepest inclines without changing gears.

The New Victor GL model is an ergonomic triumph with its easily adjustable front and rear shock absorbers and a wider seat. The dual colour seats and mirrors, dynamic sticker graphics, new engine colour and ergonomically designed pillion handle comes as a result of TVS India's commitment to safety and style.

The dramatic styling and a choice of six stunning and vibrant colours offers a purposeful and visually impressive motorbike. But it is not just the exterior that commands attention. Superior safety features makes the Victor a perfect match for the Sri Lankan roads. Included in its list of safety attributes are extra grip rear tyre tread, rectangular swing arm, multi focus reflector, clear lens head lamp and tail lamp, side stand beeper, multi focus clear lens indicators, and ergonomic handlebar grips.

The Scooty Pep has been introduced to expand the TVS Scooty family. Sleek and stylish the new Scooty Pep is especially designed for the female market. It is equipped with a 75cc 4 stroke engine, a bigger more comfortable seat for two and strong hydraulic shock absorbers for a smoother ride.

Its sleek duo-tone body (available in 5 eye catching colours), body coloured mirrors, smiley headlamp, and winky indicators adds the perfect elements of style to its superior performance. The rider receives extra mileage with the bikes unique Power/Economy mode.

The new Scooty also combines a convenient auto reserve fuel tap with auto choke for instant starts, tabling the use to experience a hassle free ride. PEP storage offers compartmentalized storage space to easily store all your essentials.

With a helmet hanger, bag hook and an easy reach glove box, the Scooty Pep has features to lighten the carry on load for ladies. Its safety efficiency is achieved with features such as puncture resistant tyres that come with a special sealant inside, to minimize the chances of getting a flat, a side stand alarm that beeps if you forget to take off the stand, multi focal reflector headlamps and side reflectors for enhanced visibility.
